The Death of the three great stars of Rock n roll , Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and Big Bopper On February 3, 1959, shortly after they left a concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, during a blizzard and a terrible plane crash, died, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and Big Bopper. Their chartered Beechcraft Bonanza crashed in blizzard with near zero visibility.
