Helmut Lotti sings "Dorogoj Dlinnoju", "Those Were the Days"  .
It may come as a surprise to many that "Those Were the Days" is an original Russian song.

Gene Raskin translated it into English in 1963. In 1968 the Beatles passed the English version on to singer Mary Hopkin who makes it into a huge success.

This video is the original Russian version, Helmut recorded this video in Moscow at a night picnic. This video features dancers wearing authentic Russian Folk Costumes.
